| Air car: which turns from a car into an airplane in two minutes and 15 seconds |
A test model of a flying car or flying car has successfully completed a one-hour and 35-minute flight between the Slovak cities of Nitra and Bratislava International Airport.
Developed by combining car and airplane technology, this model of 'Air Car' has a BMW engine installed while it is fueled by a normal petrol pump.
Its inventor, Professor Stephen Klein, claims that the car can fly up to 1,000 kilometers and at an altitude of 8,200 feet, and has flown in the air for a total of 40 hours so far. It takes just two minutes and 15 seconds to make a plane out of a car.
