Eating blindly in gluttonous children may be related to the brain |
Berkeley, California: Some children in Pakistan and around the world eat indiscriminately all the time, and it is now known that there may be a significant difference in the specific area of their brain, the gray area, compared to normal children.
In this regard, Stuart Murray, an expert from the University of Southern California's Cake School, says that some children are unable to control themselves and continue to eat and drink. Their brain scans showed that it causes significant changes in the brain, which can also be called ab normal changes. Parents and doctors must play their part in this.
According to a report published in the Journal of Psychiatric Research, the brains of nine- or ten-year-old gluttonous children are affected, which is related to the accumulation of benefits and appetite, which can be due to suppression of appetite. Its effects can be detrimental to one's routine and lead to overeating, which psychologists call eating disorder.
Such children frequently go to the hospital, live in stress, become obese and like to be isolated. Based on these conditions, experts have studied such children, the number may be 2 to 4 percent. A total of 11,875 children from 21 locations across the United States were included in the study. The most significant change in the brains of children with eating disorders was observed in the gray area.
But what other consequences can change from the gray area have? According to scientists, they already know that these brain changes can lead to many psychological disorders. However, Professor Stuart has suggested further research.
