(HARARE) -Pakistan scored 176 runs in reply to Zimbabwe's first day's play without losing a wicket. Zimbabwe now have a 74-run lead over Pakistan. According to the details, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first, with Prince Mysore and Kevin Casuoza taking the field. Pauline returned without scoring, after which Prince, who came to the opening, managed to score only 11 runs and was caught by Imran Butt on the ball of Shaheen Shah Afridi. Masakanda was bowled by Noman Ali for 15 while Brendon Taylor was bowled by Hassan Ali and managed to score only five runs. Zimbabwe's Milton Shumba stepped on the wicket and took more wickets. Tried hard to stop him from falling but he was run out for 27 runs. Zimbabwe batsmen Roy Kaya scored 48 and Rajis scored 19 runs. Pauline returned. Other batsmen like Trypano scored 28 runs. Hassan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi took four wickets each. Spin bowler Noman took one wicket while one player was run out. Opening batsmen Imran Butt and Abid Ali started batting for Pakistan. In the early overs, both the batsmen faced the Zimbabwean bowlers with satisfaction and slowly started playing shots on all four sides of the wickets. When the game ended, Imran Butt was on the crease with 42 runs and Abid Ali was on the crease with 56 runs.
