(Shillong ) A woman who entered a bank with the intention of robbing Shillong, the capital of the Indian state of Meghalaya, was trapped inside for three days.
According to India Today, the 40-year-old woman deposited money in the bank around 2 pm on Friday. After that the bank closed at two o'clock but it hid inside. On Monday, after the Saturday and Sunday holidays, the manager opened the bank and found the woman, who was immediately reported to the police.
Police arrested the woman. During the investigation, it was revealed that the woman had returned to the bank on Friday but remained trapped inside for three days due to the closure of the bank. Water and food items were also recovered from the woman. Police registered a case of robbery on the complaint of the bank manager.
