The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has imposed an air travel ban
on Indian nationals, with the number of corona cases in India rising to
alarming levels on Thursday.

restrictions on Indian nationals would come into effect from April 24.

have been imposed on Indian citizens after the record of 314,000 cases of
Corona in India. According to a report published in Khaleej Times, passengers
coming from Indian airlines will not be allowed to enter the UAE. According to
the notice issued by the UAE, only Indian nationals who have been residing in a
country outside India for 14 days will be allowed to enter the country.
The notice said cargo and departure flights between India
and the United Arab Emirates would continue as usual. The notice also said that
diplomats and official delegations from India would not be barred from entering
the country. Air travel to the UAE will be allowed. According to the Gulf
Times, when he tried to book a ticket from India to the UAE after April 24, all
airlines, including Etihad Airlines and Air Arabia, there are flights between
the UAE, no one offered a ticket. According to UAE sources, the travel bans
were imposed on India on Thursday after the world's highest number of corona
