Helicopter flight over the land of Mars |
(NEW YORK) - NASA's miniature robot helicopter made history
by flying over the land of Mars. According to the New York Times, this small
robotic helicopter is called 'Ingenuity', which is the first helicopter sent
from Earth to fly on the land of another planet in the universe. Just 4 pounds
(about 1.8 kg). The helicopter rose three meters above the surface of Mars and
flew some distance before landing on the surface of Mars again. The helicopter
also sent a picture of its own image formed on the surface of Mars during the
flight. It should be noted that this robot helicopter was landed on Mars with
the spacecraft Perseverance Rover.
