Lahore: Pakistan won the toss and elected to field in the first ODI of the series against pak vs aus.

Australia's Nathan Ellis and Mitchell Sweepson are being debuted in ODIs while Pakistan spinner Zahid Mahmood and fast bowler Wasim Jr. got ODI caps.

National team captain Babar Azam said batting could be easier in the evening while visiting team captain Aaron Finch said that if we had won the toss we would have bowled first.

It should be noted that Australia had whitewashed Pakistan 24 years ago in 1998 in a one-day series on its soil.

In the third ODI of the series played in Lahore, Australia scored 316 runs against Pakistan, in which Adam Gilchrist and Reiki Ponting scored a magnificent century.
