The five-month-old baby began to turn to stone |
London (Daily Pakistan Online) The body of a girl born in Britain is slowly turning to stone.
Lexi Robbins was born on January 31 and was as normal as a normal baby, but her toes were large and she could not move her toes. The girl underwent all sorts of check-ups but her illness was not understood. Finally, an X-ray in April revealed that she was suffering from a very rare disease called fibro dysplasia and ossification progression (FOP), which affects one in two million children.
In this disease, children's muscles begin to turn into bones and gradually their body begins to turn to stone. There is no formal research on the treatment of this disease. In addition, people with FOP live 20 to 40 years.
